Spatha at Roman ruins ️
Our reenactor/training spatha was designed for semi/full contact fightings systems. The hilt is longer than the originals to be compatible for the bulky fencing gauntlets. Both the guard and the pommel consists hardwood and steel layers.
The spatha became common among both cavalry and infantry, influencing the development of medieval European swords. We recommend this sword for early medieval reenactment fights, trainings and tournaments.
